CANCELED due to COVID-19 CRISIS
Please contact your legislators in writing, by phone and watch for future opportunities to meet with them to help support Legislation important to Minnesota Veterans.
Please mark your calendar for 20 April 2020 – our Annual Veterans Day on the Hill at the Capitol is St. Paul. There are a number of bills we are working on, from helping widows and widowers of disabled veterans to live comfortably, to helping disabled veterans receive restorative justice in ALL of Minnesota’s 87 counties, and ensuring the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs has the resources to take care of elderly veterans and their spouses in our five Veterans’ Homes. We need as many Post and Auxiliary Members on the Hill as we can get; this is your chance to make sure this great country’s promise to those that have borne the battle AND their families is a promise kept. Full details will be in your March/April newsletter.
