2020 Voice of Democracy Winner

Every student that enters the Veterans of Foreign Wars Voice of Democracy is a winner in the eyes of the members of the VFW and Auxiliary. However we can only crown one overall winner to send to the National level of this competition, and this year's winner Elizabeth Link is out of the 2nd District Sponsored by the Gallagher-Hanson VFW Post #295 and Auxiliary in South St. Paul


The VFW Voice of Democracy program starts before the school year each year even starts and ends when a winner will be crowned in Washington D.C. in March. Over 40,000 students nation-wide entered this year lending their voice to this year's theme of "What Makes America Great".


This National Audio Essay Scholarship Competition is designed to give high school students the opportunity to voice their opinions on their responsibility to our country and to convey their thoughts via the broadcasting media to all America
